A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We absolutely loved our experience at Lola! My son was given some colouring pencils and a sheet to colour immediately on arrival with the kid's menu on the back. Service was quick and we ordered drinks and food within the first 10 minutes of arrival. Drinks also came back super quick too. I ordered the fried chicken and the plate was huge! I couldn't finish it all but it was absolutely delicious. My son ordered the kid's pancakes and he devoured it! Our experience was fantastic and I will definitely be coming back! With the rest of the family for sure! Thank you!"
"Blueberry pancakes They have impressively large berries even in the jam, balanced perfectly by the side of lemon sauce that cuts through the sweetness with its tangy, refreshing edge. The presentation is stunning and the portion is generously sized. Chicken Burger The fried chicken stays incredibly crispy even after adding Korean spicy sauce, and I love the firmer texture of this bun. Freshly fried fries are delicious, but they turn really soggy if left sitting too long."
"Great food and drinks, even if we waited quite long for our orders despite arriving at a less busier time. Pleasantly surprised at their strawberry matcha latte, and the interior decoration was nice. We'll be back!"
"Great place for Breakfast. We waited 5mins to be seated as it was very busy. We ordered Lolas Big Breakfast, with a Pot of Tea and a Frappe. I loved the size of the Teapot with a good size cup. Food was pretty quick to come out considering it was very busy. Lots of Families enjoying a Breakfast/Brunch together. Great Service. Great Food. Thanks."
"Me and my family came to have breakfast for the holidays and were pleasantly surprised with how delicious and well presented the food was! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful to fulfill our requests. Our highlights were: The layered potatoes, pork belly, fried chicken, the french toast and the hot mocha."
"I booked a table on first table. Breakfast butty was yum 10/10 and my 3 year old dug into the pancakes so fast. I loved the food and the atmosphere was nice and calm, I’m literally still eating as I’m writing the review. I’m not a heavy coffee drinker but I got a mocha frappe and it was a bit strong, the lady told me they always put two shots of coffee but added som chocolate sauce so it wasn’t so strong. If you get a mocha and you’re not a heavy coffee drinker ask for one shot of coffee. I’ve been to multiple cafes in Auckland at least 5 in every area of Auckland (south, east, central, west) with first table and without and after this breakfast butty this cafes on my top 10."
"First time trying Lola Cafe and it was quite pleasant. I went in on Monday and noticed they had a daily special. Therefore, I tried their fish taco. I don't drink coffee so asked if I could have hot chocolate instead, and they were very accommodating. The tacos are soft, so not the crunchy type but it was still very nice and refreshing. The fish was very crispy and the fries were great and chunky. I will definitely come back again, hopefully to try their dinner menu."
"Family oriented cafe. Service was impeccable, Food was delicious, we got lola breakfast & breakfast bunty, mocha frappe was will definitely be going back again to try more of the menu."
